ANTI-CHRISTMAS - PART 2

It may save money to dump problem kids on teachers, but they are not trained or paid to dedicate all their time to those problem kids. And the learning outcomes, and future prospects and opportunities, of all the students suffer as a direct result of those flawed laws, policies and procedures. The children under this flawed system hear “no, don’t stop” are are learning they can get away with anything. No accountability. No repercussions. They take this ill-education and idiocy into the real world as unhinged adults who inflict themselves on others. It doesn’t really matter. It’s not like anyone in the public education system is going anywhere. If you want to have a better chance at getting into university, achieving good grades and obtaining high-wage employment, you need to attend a private school and have parents with friends in high places. My experience at uni revealled just how hard it is for people who have to pay their own way, and work hard, only to watch lesser students g

ANTI-CHRISTMAS - PART 1

Christmas is always a difficult time of year for people like me. Easter and birthdays too. They are a constant reminder of the brutalities and horrors we have endured. The absence of what others have. Not gifts and lavish meals, but normal families. Brothers, sisters, cousins, parents, uncles, aunts and grandparents who want to spend time with one another, share stories of the things they’ve done over the years instead of backstabbing, sniping and other vindictive acts. Worse, it is no different to any other day. The same nasty, spiteful, too often brutal behaviour undermining the ‘magic’ of Christmas a child is supposed to experience. Memories of spending time with my grandparents infected with the absence of a self-centred, sociopathic father, the cruelty of my mother and, in years that followed, the hateful behaviour of my step-father and my mother’s second son. Memories of cherished gifts given by my grandparents only to be broken by those hateful people, or vanish without tra

INDOCTRINATING IDIOCY – PART TWO

Paul has some serious personality problems and attacked someone from another generation (with no evidence or reason whatsoever) by claiming I thought I was better than him even as he claimed he was better than me. His supporters and Bradley did the same. Worse, they all just confirmed for a lot of others that people of Y-generation are idle, bigoted, self-centred and stupid when the reality is Paul and his mates represent a sad little minority of intellectually stunted people who know no generational boundaries. Well done. Bravo. *slow hand clap* Not to be outdone, another two contenders for half-wit of the week arrived on the scene. Justin, a real champ depicting himself as someone fighting for peace, love, equality and respect for the LGBTI community posted a variant of the standard ‘Blah blah’ response of idiots with nothing of value to contribute. Not as impressive as our poor, “struggling” and “oppressed” little Y-gen, Paul, who lives in Sydney, studies Engineering at

INDOCTRINATING IDIOCY – PART ONE

The ABC recently posted something that caused quite a stir. Well, something else. They do that a lot. In this case, it was the annual Are You Smarter Than A School Leaver nonsense. A series of random multi-guess questions based on what those students have most recently been studying but, more importantly, you have not or maybe never did. It proved to be an incredibly divisive post that revealed more about individuals than their answers to those questions ever would. http://www.abc.net.au/news/2017-11-07/hsc-are-you-smarter-than-a-school-leaver-take-our-quiz/9116236 Needless to say, it triggered a lot of folk suffering from a variety of psychological problems, not least of which were the kind who suffer from narcissism, paranoia, an inferiority complex leading to an uncontrollable desire to tear down others to make themselves feel bigger, and the apparent inability to actually bother to read, or listen, and think about things before responding with an offensive (knee-) jer
